This paper explores the necessity and implementation paths of integrating excellent traditional Chinese culture into early childhood education. Based on cultural transmission theory, child development theory, and multicultural education theory, the study analyzes the theoretical foundations of traditional culture in early childhood education. The research indicates that traditional culture education is significant for cultivating children’s cultural identity, national pride, well-rounded personality, and patriotism. By constructing a scientific curriculum system, innovating teaching methods, strengthening teacher team building, and improving home-school co-education mechanisms, a multi-level and comprehensive traditional culture education model has been formed. This model not only focuses on the transmission of cultural knowledge but also emphasizes the cultivation of cultural emotions, taking into account individual development and social needs. The study provides theoretical support and practical references for cultural heritage in early childhood education and looks forward to the important role of the in-depth integration of excellent traditional Chinese culture into early childhood education for children’s growth and national cultural heritage. %K 中华优秀传统文化, %K 学前教育, %K 文化传承, %K 儿童发展, %K 家园共育
