This article explores the application of project-based teaching in the course of Theory and Method of Comprehensive Mechanical Design. Firstly, the teaching objectives of the course and the basic concept of project-based teaching were introduced, which is a project-based and student-centered teaching method. Then, taking the design of the transmission line inspection robot system as an example, the entire process of using project-based teaching in the course was introduced. It is proposed to guide students to engage in self-directed and cooperative learning through the implementation of specific project tasks. By designing and implementing specific project tasks for project-based projects, students can gain a deeper understanding and mastery of the theoretical knowledge of mechanical integrated design, and apply this knowledge to practical operations, improving their practical and problem-solving abilities. %K 项目式教学, %K 机器人系统, %K 课程教学
