This paper delves into the strategies for the inheritance and development of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) by focusing on the distinctive feature of “food as medicine” in Bozhou, known as the “World Capital of Medicine”. Through an analysis of the current status, advantages, and challenges faced by Bozhou’s food-as-medicine industry, a series of measures are proposed to promote the inheritance and development of TCM. These measures include innovative product research and development, expansion of marketing channels, enhancement of cultural dissemination, and talent cultivation. The aim is to provide valuable references and insights for the sustainable development of TCM in the new era.
