As an important logistics channel in western China, the new western land-sea corridor is of great significance for its low-carbon and efficient operation of logistics. In this paper, taking 14 provinces and cities along the new western land-sea corridor from 2011 to 2022 as the research object, the ultra-efficiency SBM model and GML index method are used to evaluate the low-carbon logistics efficiency of the new corridor, and the fsQCA analysis method is selected to explore the efficiency improvement path. The results show that: 1) In terms of efficiency, the overall low-carbon logistics efficiency improvement space of the new corridor is large, but the regional development is uneven, and Guangdong, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia and other provinces play a leading role; the GML index fluctuation is rising, and the progress of green technology is the core factor. 2) In terms of path, the low-carbon logistics efficiency of the new corridor is influenced by a variety of influencing factors such as the level of economic development and the degree of attention to environmental protection, forming an efficiency improvement path: the collaborative driving path of economic development and opening up to the outside world, the resource-constrained path, the government-restrained path, the low-end path of science and technology, and the collaborative driving path of government, production and research.
