Refractory tic disorder represents an emerging concept that has gained attention in recent years. Conventional Western medical treatments have shown limited effectiveness, while surgical interventions lack robust evidence-based support. The persistent nature of the symptoms poses significant challenges for treatment and severely impacts the quality of life for affected children and their families. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) offers notable advantages in managing refractory tic disorder; however, there is a scarcity of comprehensive and effective clinical case studies. Based on extensive long-term clinical research, Director Yang Xudong has developed a therapeutic approach focusing on enhancing qi, improving blood circulation, expelling wind, and unblocking meridians, addressing the aspects of “wind, deficiency, phlegm, and stasis”. This paper presents a case study to illustrate his clinical insights, aiming to provide a treatment strategy with proven efficacy and enhance the quality of life for pediatric patients. %K 儿童, %K 难治性抽动障碍, %K 临床经验, %K 中医
