He was admitted to the acute care floor and diagnosed with juvenile dermatomyositis and found to be positive for anti-Mi-2 alpha, anti-Mi-2 beta, and anti-MDA-5 antibodies. He gradually improved with a combination of steroid, immunomodulatory treatment, and physical therapy. This case outlines the clinical course of a patient with this rare disorder as well as the importance of understanding the role of associated antibodies to manage potential long-term sequelae. %K Juvenile Dermatomyositis %K Myositis-Associated Antibodies %K Myositis-Specific Antibodies %U http://www.scirp.org/journal/PaperInformation.aspx?PaperID=140927
