Film, as a new narrative art form, not only allows audiences to enjoy a visual feast during the viewing process, but also enables them to experience the cultural essence of the film in a direct and intuitive way. In the context of globalization, Russian films play an indispensable role in the exchange and communication between different cultures. With more and more Russian films entering the Chinese market, the demand for Russian film subtitles translation has also increased. Taking the film “The Irony of Fate” as the research object and guided by Newmark’s translation theory, this paper aims to sort out the common techniques and methods in film subtitle translation, in order to provide reference and inspiration for the research in the field of Russian-Chinese film subtitles translation. %K 俄文电影, %K 字幕翻译, %K 《命运的捉弄》, %K 纽马克翻译理论
