Although it has been present for centuries and academically confirmed several decades, art, particularly Plastic Arts, still evokes mixed feelings in Ivorian society between appreciation for its aesthetics on the one hand, and rejection of its controversial practice on the other. Thus, in view of all of the above, it is clear that the phenomenon of Plastic Arts in Ivory Coast is constantly reinventing itself and that it is no longer limited to a simple function of aesthetic expression but rather a discipline that significantly embodies the moral, educational, scientific, socio-cultural, economic and historical values of the country. %K Plastic Arts/Visual Arts %K Art %K Artists %K Stereotype %K Impacts %K Socio-Cultural Development %K Cultural Industry %K Creativity %K Innovation %K Ivory Coast (Cô %K te d’ %K Ivoire) %U http://www.scirp.org/journal/PaperInformation.aspx?PaperID=140568
