%X 对于大多数学生来说,英语学习的启蒙阶段始于小学,而初中则是打牢基础的关键时期,高中则是进一步深化学习的阶段。因此,初中英语教学在学生的英语学习旅程中扮演着承前启后的重要角色。随着基础教育改革的不断推进,英语课程标准明确提出了新的要求:“培养学生的自信心,养成良好的学习习惯,形成积极有效的学习策略,发展自主学习能力和合作精神”。这些要求旨在提高学生的自主学习能力和培养良好的学习习惯。本文从素质教育的角度出发,针对当前存在的问题和正在面临的教育教学趋势,探讨在新课程标准指导下初中英语教学的改革路径。
For the majority of students, the initial phase of English language learning begins in primary school, with junior high school being the critical period for solidifying foundations, and high school serving as the stage for further deepening and expanding their knowledge. Consequently, junior high school English teaching plays a pivotal role in the continuum of students’ English learning journey. As the reform of basic education continues to advance, the English curriculum standards have set forth new requirements: “To cultivate students’ self-confidence, develop good study habits, form effective learning strategies, and foster autonomous learning abilities and a spirit of cooperation.” These requirements aim to enhance students’ ability to learn independently and to instill positive study habits. This paper, from the perspective of quality education, discusses the reform pathways for junior high school English teaching under the guidance of the new curriculum standards, in light of current issues and educational trends.
