From the perspective of Levinas’s theory of the Other, the deviation of teacher ethics is primarily manifested as the loss of spiritual desire and the deviation and transgression of behavior, with its root lying in the teacher’s neglect of the absolute difference of students as “Others”. Levinas’s theory of the Other provides a new perspective for transforming alienated teacher-student relationships. The reconstruction of teacher ethics requires a profound understanding and response to the Other. Teachers, through the cultivation of internal motivation, the shift in value positions, and the transformation of means and methods, establish an ethical relationship with students and achieve the goodness of education.
