This paper analyzes the training effect of scientific research ideas and methods on the core competence of biology majors and the traditional teaching dilemma. This paper analyzes the training efficiency and traditional teaching dilemma of “Research Methodology and Thinking Skills” on the core competence of biological professionals, and puts forward the significance and advantages of the teaching mode of “promoting learning by competition and promoting teaching by competition” in teaching reform. Taking the essay contest in the form of curriculum competition as the breakthrough point, this paper deeply studies the concrete influence of “promoting teaching by competition and promoting learning by competition” on talent cultivation and teaching reform of the course, with a view to improving students’ scientific research consciousness and ability, improving the scientific research level of prospective graduates, ensuring the high-quality development of graduation design and realizing the long-term reform of the curriculum. %K 以赛促学, %K 《科研思路与方法》, %K 教学改革, %K 教学实践
