%X 本文旨在探讨奈达功能对等视角下电影字幕中文化负载词的翻译。通过分析奈达的功能对等理论在电影字幕英译中的应用，强调了译者在处理电影字幕时需要充分考虑语境、文化背景和译文的可读性。以电影《长安三万里》为实例，分析译者在翻译过程中对于文化负载词的处理，此外还讨论了译者如何在形式和功能之间进行取舍，从而更好地传达电影的意图和情感，以满足外国观众的审美和欣赏习惯，以期达到同源语言观众等值的效果。
This article aims to explore the subtitle translation of the culture-loaded words from Chinese to English based on the perspective of Nida’s functional equivalence theory. By analyzing the application of Nida’s functional equivalence theory in the translation of film subtitles, it emphasizes that the translator needs to fully consider the context, cultural background, and readability of the translation when dealing with film subtitles. Taking the film Chang’an as an example, it analyzes the translator’s handling of culture-loaded words in the translation process. In addition, it discusses how the translator can make trade-offs between form and function, so as to better convey the intention and emotion of the film, meet the aesthetic and appreciation habits of foreign audiences, and achieve the effect of equivalence for the audience of the source language.
