With the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, the potential of large language models in the field of education has received extensive attention. This paper takes ChatGPT as an example to explore its application strategy in the development of high school English listening and speaking skills. Based on the concept of “integration of learning and application”, a teaching framework covering task-driven teaching, personalized learning support and intelligent evaluation feedback is constructed. This paper proposes the practical operation methods of ChatGPT in simulated communi-cative scenarios, real-time speech correction and learning effect evaluation.
