In the context of the information age, the news industry is developing rapidly, and the media industry has an increasing demand for news practice teaching and media integration workshop. The new liberal arts perspective emphasizes the integration of interdisciplinary knowledge, including social sciences, humanities, and natural sciences, in order to better understand and explain today’s complex news reality. In this study, relevant staff have an in-depth understanding of the construction of the new liberal arts and the development of the media integration workshop model. Based on the relationship between the new liberal arts and news practice education, the integration of media integration workshop and news practice teaching is elaborated in detail from the aspects of project design and multimedia skills, in order to provide strong support for the cultivation of high-quality comprehensive news practitioners.
