Based on ANSYS, a static analysis and multi-objective optimization of the drive shaft of a large ball mill liner replacement manipulator is carried out. Firstly, the three-dimensional model of the drive shaft is established in SolidWorks and imported into Workbench for structural static analysis, and it is found that the stress on the drive shaft is much smaller than the torsional strength of the material, which has the space for optimization. On this basis, the structure of this drive shaft is optimized and designed based on the response surface method, and the correctness of the model is verified by simulation. The calculation results show that the scheme can reduce the weight of the drive shaft by 1.8%, the maximum deformation by 18.5%, and the maximum stress by 12%, which is of some significance for the design of similar drive shafts.
