The “Senior High School English Curriculum Standards (2017 Edition)” clearly states that implementing the English Learning Activity-Based Approach is crucial to fostering students’ core subject competencies. This article analyzes the definition and significance of the English Learning Activity-Based Approach and elaborates on the teaching design approach for the Reading section of Unit 7 in the Yilin Edition of Volume Two, Grade Seven.
