This article presents a concise analysis of how to incorporate pressing issues from everyday life into biochemistry education. It discusses several advantages of the Triz root cause analysis method within heuristic and argumentative teaching frameworks. This strategy encourages students to gradually formulate intermediate questions derived from an initial problem, ultimately guiding them towards the fundamental issue. Compared to directly addressing the root causes inherent in the initial problem, this approach is both simpler and more logical.
