%X 严武作为安史之乱后严氏家族中异军突起的重要人物，在肃、代时期三次出任两川节度使。在几年的任期中严武在维护地区稳定和代宗初年唐蕃战争中发挥了重要作用，进而得以封勋国公，严武几次出任两川节度使时均是扮演了“救火队员”的角色。此外，严武三次在蜀期间经过正确的经略在蜀地一举扭转了剑南道的乱局，进而对于稳定剑南做出了卓越贡献。
Yan Wu, as an important figure in the Yan family after the An Lushan Rebellion, was appointed as the envoy of two Rivers three times in the period of Su and Dai. During his term of office, Yan Wu played an important role in maintaining regional stability and in the Tang-Tibet war in the early years of Emperor Dazong, and was then awarded the title of duke of the empire. Yan Wu played the role of “fireman” when he was appointed as the envoy of the two Rivers for several times. In addition, Yan Wu had made a remarkable contribution to the stability of Jiannandao by turning the chaos of Jiannandao at one stroke during his three times in Shu.
