The Influence of Digital Inclusive Finance on the Green Total Factor Productivity of Agriculture in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Economic Circle

%X 伴随着中国数字经济的蓬勃发展,以数字技术为基础的数字普惠金融迅速崛起,并在推动农业绿色全要素生产率方面发挥着日益重要的作用。本文基于京津冀经济圈2011~2022年13个城市的数据,采用DEA-Malmquist指数法对京津冀农业绿色全要素生产率进行量化评估,以此探讨数字普惠金融对该地区农业绿色全要素生产率的作用及其机制。研究表明:1) 数字普惠金融对提升京津冀地区农业绿色全要素生产率具有显著的推动作用。2) 数字普惠金融可以通过优化区域产业结构和提高技术创新能力来促进京津冀经济圈农业绿色全要素生产率的提升。3) 区域异质性检验结果表明,相较于天津和河北地区,北京地区的数字普惠金融具有更显著的促进作用。
With the vigorous development of China’s digital economy, digital inclusive finance, which is based on digital technologies, has swiftly emerged and is playing an increasingly important role in promoting agricultural green total factor productivity (GTFP). This study utilizes data from 13 cities within the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei (BTH) economic circle between 2011 and 2022, employing the DEA-Malmquist index method to quantitatively assess the GTFP of agriculture in the area. The analysis investigates the role and mechanisms of digital inclusive finance in influencing agricultural GTFP in this region. The study reveals the following: 1) Digital inclusive finance significantly boosts agricultural GTFP in the BTH region. 2) Digital inclusive finance facilitates the improvement of agricultural GTFP in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei economic zone by optimizing the regional industrial structure and boosting technological innovation. 3) The results of the regional heterogeneity test show that compared to Tianjin and Hebei, digital inclusive finance has a more pronounced impact in Beijing.
