In the context of the integration of culture and tourism becoming a new engine for promoting urban cultural development, the deep exploration and creative presentation of urban culture have become the key to enhancing the city’s brand image and cultural soft power. The purpose of this study is to explore the strategies and methods for designing the cultural IP image of Jinan’s region. By delving into the rich historical and cultural resources, natural landscapes, and folk customs of Jinan, combined with modern design concepts and technological means, and using the research approach of field visits, the aim is to comprehensively understand the connotation and value of Jinan’s regional culture and create a cultural IP image with distinct regional characteristics and broad influence. This study provides theoretical support and practical guidance for the design of Jinan’s regional cultural IP image, which helps to promote the inheritance and innovation of urban culture and promote the sustainable development of the cultural tourism industry.
