China’s traditional procedural law culture is a shining pearl in the long history of legal research, and its shining light transcends space and connects the past and the present. Reflected in the traditional Chinese procedural law culture is people’s desire for a harmonious and litigation-free society, the inheritance and development of the mediation system, and the pursuit of a balanced integration of emotion, reason and law. Taking history as a mirror, the value of China’s traditional procedural law culture enlightens the development of modern society in a better direction, and it is necessary to pay attention to the construction and improvement of multiple dispute resolution mechanisms, accelerate the establishment of a team of high-quality people’s mediators, and pay attention to the humanization and artistry of litigation in judicial practice.
