%X 疾病是卢新华新世纪创作中的一个重要修辞，它的表现有以下三个方面：其一，作为其书写中国的隐喻，象征文明的病灶，表现出中国面对世界的迷茫和踟蹰；其二，成为贯穿其小说中人物形象序列的符号，起到以言行事的功能，成为其书写人性的跳板；其三，疾病在文本的意义结构上呈现出一种纵向的架构，其表象与能指一一对应，丰富和拓宽了小说的意义世界。他的疾病修辞是以其隐喻性为中心的，疾病的“以言行事”是其隐喻存在的基础与发挥效力的语用方式，并构建了文本阐释与解读的纵向的意义结构。
Disease is an important rhetoric in Lu Xinhua’s works in the new century, and its manifestations are threefold: first, disease serves as a metaphor for his writing about China, symbolizing the foci of civilization and showing China’s confusion and hesitation in the face of the world. Secondly, illness becomes a symbol that runs through the sequence of characters in his novels, functioning as a speech for action and a springboard for his writing about human nature. Thirdly, illnesses in Lu’s novels present a vertical meaning structure and their one-to-one correspondence with cultural metaphors enriches and broadens the world of meaning in the novels. His rhetoric of illness is centered on its metaphorical nature, and its “action by words” is the basis of its metaphorical existence and the language of its effectiveness, while it focuses on the meaning structure of the text it constitutes and its function.
