However, new studies on a national scale have shown the enormity of vitamin D deficiency among UK children and have spurred concerted efforts towards addressing the problems associated with the deficiency of this all-important vitamin. Different studies have been conducted to highlight the many clinical problems associated with vitamin D deficiency among UK children and to highlight some efforts to correct them. Some of the studies form the thrust of this write-up.
