Chinese traditional cultural symbols, as the essence of Chinese national history and culture, are widely used in the design of new Chinese style furniture. They not only endow furniture with profound cultural connotations, but also promote innovation and development in furniture design. This article explores the expression characteristics and application of cultural symbols in the design of new Chinese style furniture by analyzing specific design cases. New Chinese style furniture, as a model of the integration of tradition and modernity, cleverly integrates auspicious patterns, ethnic traditional patterns, calligraphy, painting and other cultural symbols into the design, not only enhancing the artistic value of furniture, but also inheriting the cultural essence of the Chinese nation. The use of these symbols not only beautifies the appearance of furniture, but also endows it with profound cultural connotations and symbolic significance, showcasing the unique charm of new Chinese style furniture in inheriting tradition and innovative design.
