By analyzing the relationship between ideological and political courses and ecological civilization thoughts in colleges and universities in the new era, this paper expounds the consistency between ideological and political courses and excellent traditional Chinese culture and Marxist philosophy. This paper expounds the value significance of integrating ecological civilization thought into ideological and political course, discusses its important role in shaping students&#8217; values, promoting teaching reform and promoting social sustainable development, and provides beneficial reference for improving the teaching effect of ideological and political course and cultivating talents with ecological consciousness in the new era. The overall idea aims to provide new methods for ideological and political teaching, cultivate ecological consciousness talents in the new era, and contribute to the construction of beautiful China.
