This research focuses on the exploration of the definition and classification of limited property house, and based on this research purpose, the path of legalization of small property houses. The article first elaborates on the definition of limited property houses in detail, clarifying their exact definition through the analysis of policy documents and comparison of different academic viewpoints, and discusses their unique role and challenges within the urban housing system. Subsequently, the article categorizes limited property houses systematically, detailing the specific problems and characteristics of different categories, providing a basis for formulating clear resolution strategies. Moreover, the research explores the possibility of legalizing limited property houses and proposes specific measures based on this, such as demolition, regularization, transformation, and preservation. These measures aim to promote the healthy and orderly development of the limited property houses market by strengthening management and policy support, addressing issues related to legality, transactions, planning, and technology.
