Under the background of the integration of physical education and academic education, this paper explores the feasibility of introducing martial arts into school campuses. It delves into the educational value of martial arts, particularly in enhancing students’ physical fitness, cultivating their willpower, and inheriting Chinese culture. By analyzing the current status of martial arts education in schools, challenges such as curriculum development, faculty training, and safety management are revealed. Based on this, the feasibility of introducing martial arts into school campuses is evaluated from multiple dimensions, including policy support, curriculum design, teaching methods, and safety measures, and a series of strategic suggestions are proposed. These include establishing martial arts courses that are compatible with the integration of physical and academic education, strengthening faculty training, building a scientific safety management system, and utilizing modern technology to optimize teaching. The potential of martial arts as an important carrier of the integration of physical and academic education is emphasized, highlighting its broad prospects in school sports education. The paper aims to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for the promotion of martial arts in school campuses.
