This paper aims to explore the teaching strategies of high school English reading based on the theory of deep learning, from the connotation and characteristics of deep learning and the relationship between deep learning and English reading teaching, based on the “Tu Youyou Awarded Nobel Prize?” as an example, this paper elaborates the application strategies of deep learning concept in English reading teaching in high school from six aspects, including building the connection between old and new knowledge, activating thinking schema; analyze the discourse layer by layer, excavate the essential connotation; carry out various activities to enrich the reading experience; create a relaxed atmosphere and enhance interaction; pay attention to transfer after reading, improve practical ability; reflect on classroom behavior and carry out the scientific evaluation. %K 深度学习, %K 高中英语, %K 阅读教学
