A Study on the Dissemination of the English Translation of “Harmony between Humanity and Nature” in Mainstream Media in Britain and the United States %A 郭名妍 %J Modern Linguistics %P 870-876 %@ 2330-1716 %D 2024 %I Hans Publishing %R 10.12677/ml.2024.12111088 %X 在全球化的语境下，术语英译名的对外传播不仅关乎国家形象的精准塑造与国际话语权的构建，更是促进不同文化背景下政策理解、增进共识的桥梁。本文通过定量统计与定性分析，研究2015~2024年间英美主流媒体的相关报道，探讨了不同译名的使用频次、语境和语义差异。呈现“人与自然和谐共生”术语的英译名在英美主流媒体中的传播特征及其语义和权力关系。研究发现，不同译名的使用与特定社会事件和语境紧密相关。不仅揭示了中国特色术语在对外传播中的话语构建和接受机制，也为优化翻译策略、提升对外传播效果提供了实证依据。此外，研究结果对于促进跨文化交流、增强中国在全球生态治理中的话语影响力具有重要的理论和实践意义。
In the context of globalization, the external communication of the English translation of terms is not only related to the accurate shaping of the national image and the construction of international discourse power, but also a bridge to promote policy understanding and enhance consensus under different cultural backgrounds. This paper studies the relevant reports of the mainstream media in the United Kingdom and the United States from 2015 to 2024 through quantitative statistics and qualitative analysis, and explores the frequency of use, context and semantic differences of different translations. The dissemination characteristics of the English translation of the term “harmonious coexistence between man and nature” in the mainstream media of the United Kingdom and the United States and its semantic and power relations are presented. The study found that the use of different translations is closely related to specific social events and political contexts. It not only reveals the discourse construction and acceptance mechanism of Chinese-style terms in international communication, but also provides empirical evidence for optimizing translation strategies and improving international communication effects. In addition, the research results have important theoretical and practical significance for promoting cross-cultural exchanges and enhancing China’s discourse influence in global ecological governance. %K 人与自然和谐共生， %K 对外传播， %K 跨文化交流， %K 翻译策略
