Meta-Analysis of Modified Dingchuan Decoction Combined with Western Medicine Therapy for Pediatric Asthma Treatment

%X 目的:本研究旨在评估定喘汤加减方联合西药与传统西医治疗在儿童哮喘方面的临床疗效与安全性。方法:通过计算机检索了包括PubMed、Web of Science、CNKI、万方数据库在内的多个文献库,并对所有纳入文献进行质量评估。研究最终纳入了18篇回顾性队列研究,共涉及1622例患者,并运用RevMan5.4.1软件进行Meta分析。结果:Meta分析显示,在主要结局指标——总体干预有效率方面,定喘汤加减方联合西药疗法明显相对于传统西医疗法具有显著优势(OR = 5.90, 95% CI [3.99, 8.71], P < 0.00001)。值得注意的是,治疗后不良反应发生率与定喘汤加减联合西药治疗无关。结论:定喘汤加减方展现出良好的疗效性和安全性,尤其是在改善气道炎症、增加呼吸气流量、减轻哮喘症状方面。这一系统评价为临床医生和患者在选择小儿哮喘疗法时提供了重要的参考依据。
Objective: To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of Dingchuan decoction combined with western medicine and traditional western medicine in the treatment of childhood asthma. Methods: Several literature databases including PubMed, Web of Science, CNKI and Wanfang were searched by computer, and the quality of all the included literature was evaluated. A total of 18 retrospective cohort studies involving 1622 patients were included and a Meta-analysis was performed using RevMan5.4.1 software. Results: The Meta-analysis revealed that in terms of the primary outcome indicator, namely the overall intervention effectiveness rate, the combination of modified Dingchuan decoction and western medicine therapy exhibited a significant advantage over traditional western medicine therapy (OR = 5.90, 95% CI [3.99, 8.71], P < 0.00001). It is worth noting that the incidence of adverse reactions after treatment and Dingchuan decoction combined with western medicine treatment was not related. Conclusion: Dingchuan decoction shows good efficacy and safety, especially in improving airway inflammation, increasing respiratory flow and relieving asthma symptoms. This systematic review provides an important reference for clinicians and patients in the selection of pediatric asthma therapy.
