The spirit of “two bombs and one star” is a glorious chapter in the culture of nuclear science and technology disciplines, which has a unique function of educating people. In order to further explore the effective methods of course ideology, we analyze the connotation of the spirit of “two bombs and one star” from the perspective of ideological education, and provide references for optimizing the organization of course ideological content; take the nuclear profession, which is closely related to the spirit of “two bombs and one star”, as an example, combine it with the discipline-specific characteristics of talent cultivation objectives to explore the possibility of focusing on specific “events”.
