POI is in the middle stage of ovarian function decline, and is gradually showing the trend of younger age. It seriously affects women’s quality of life and physical and mental health. Professor Wu proposed that the basic pathogenesis of POI is “kidney qi deficiency”, and the clinical treatment strategy focuses on tonifying kidney and regulating menstruation, supplemented by dredging liver and invigorating spleen and promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis. He was good at using new cistanche soup for individualized dialectical treatment, and combined with Chinese patent medicine to enhance the curative effect.
