Advances in molecular biology have intensified the focus on the genetic mutations associated with this malignancy. Researchers have conducted extensive investigations into these mutations to elucidate their roles in the initiation, progression, treatment, and prognosis of PTC. This review synthesizes studies on the genetic mutations implicated in PTC, examining specific mutated genes, mechanisms of mutation, correlations with clinicopathological features, and their influence on treatment outcomes and prognosis. The objective is to provide a theoretical framework for enhancing the diagnosis, treatment, and prognostic assessment of PTC in the future. %K Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma %K Gene Mutation %K Diagnosis %K Treatment %K Prognosis %U http://www.scirp.org/journal/PaperInformation.aspx?PaperID=137475
