This article focuses on the news propaganda of “Grassland Heroine Sisters” and aims to present a comprehensive view of the image symbol creation process. In the early 1960s, under the social context of the media, the central press, local government, and literary and artistic creation jointly explored and restructed the heroic event of frostbite caused by herdsmen chasing sheep, and constructed a set of ideological infiltration mechanism from worldview to methodology at various levels, thus effectively mobilizing the people’s high enthusiasm for national construction. %K 英雄, %K 各像群像, %K 层级宣传
