The findings are based on the investigation conducted to uncover the reasons that explain the prevalence of mass shootings in the U.S. compared to other industrialized or developed nations. This research paper brings light to two of the biggest questions involving gun violence and mass shootings. First, what is considered a mass shooting, and, most importantly, how can mass shootings be prevented?
