The BOPPPS teaching model is a widely used instructional practice that significantly enhances the effectiveness of classroom teaching and optimizes student engagement. This paper explores the application of the BOPPPS teaching model combined with the use of Rain Classroom as an instructional approach, outlining the processes before, during, and after class, as well as the concluding phase of the course. The design is illustrated using the example of “GIS and Emergency Management” in the field of emergency management information systems.
