In the era of converged media, journalism graduates have more flexible career opportunities; however, the “theory-heavy, practice-light” issue remains prevalent in journalism education at universities. Students frequently face challenges in gaining sufficient hands-on experience and meaningful participation during internships with mainstream media outlets. From the perspective of “Holistic Education”, this paper examines the role of campus media in journalism practice education and its limitations. Using the Central University of Finance and Economics as a case study, the paper explores specific approaches to promoting practice-based education, public opinion guidance, cultural education, and team-building education. This study provides new insights into the cultivation of journalism talent and the development of the “Holistic Education” system. %K 三全育人, %K 校园媒体, %K 新闻实践教学, %K 融媒体
