Its English version by Peimin Ni embodies rich peritext, such as preface, introduction, and annotations, which shows the strategy of thick translation. The usage of thick translation plays a role in promoting readers&#8217; understanding, inspiring readers to think, and spreading the Chinese culture, which sets an example for the &#8220;going global&#8221; of Chinese classics.
