Quercetin is a naturally occurring flavonoid compound widely present in fruits, vegetables, and herbal plants. It has become a focus of research in recent years. Extensive studies have confirmed that quercetin possesses a range of pharmacological effects, including anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, antioxidant, and beneficial effects on cardiovascular health. This review aims to summarize the main anti-cancer pharmacological activities, mechanisms of action, and prospects for clinical application of quercetin, providing a reference for future research and drug development.
