As an important embodiment of the national spirit, it not only plays a significant role in promoting the historical development, but also provides an important reference value for the construction of socialist modernization. The excellent traditional culture itself is a kind of rich educational resource. Integrating it into the ideological and political education in colleges and universities can not only promote the better development of ideological education in universities, but also contribute to the inheritance of excellent national culture and help students to enhance their own cultural confidence. This article will elaborate on the logical associations, value implications, challenges, and implementation paths of integrating excellent traditional Chinese culture into ideological and political education in universities, in order to enhance the overall ideological and cultural quality of college students, promote the inheritance and innovation of excellent Chinese culture, and contribute to the construction of a cultural power.
