Background: Surgical simulation training enables surgeons to gain clinical experience or skills in simulated environments. Because it changes with the advancement of science and technology, and there have been no previous studies analyzing this field from the perspective of bibliometric analysis, this study aims to review the changes in global surgical simulation training through bibliometric software. Methods: A search was conducted on the core integrated database Web of Science from 2000 to August 2024, using four keywords (surgery, training, simulation, and robotics) to explore hot topics. The data were mainly analyzed by publication date, country, author, and keywords through bibliometric software. Result: A preliminary analysis of 1562 articles showed that laparoscopic skills, 3D printing, and virtual reality were the 虚拟现实, %K 模拟训练, %K 外科, %K 医师培训, %K 文献计量分析
