This article constructs an indicator system based on medical and health resource data from 31 provinces and cities in China from 2015 to 2021, and uses a data envelopment model to comprehensively measure the effective allocation of resources in each province and city from spatial and temporal dimensions. The research results indicate that the efficiency of medical and health resource allocation in 31 provinces and cities in China shows a gradually decreasing spatial distribution pattern from south to north and from east to west. The distribution of provinces and cities in the eastern and central regions is relatively dense, and the difference in medical and health efficiency is relatively small, showing a local clustering trend. The efficiency of some provinces has decreased compared to the efficiency values of the previous year in the dynamic comparison of envelope surfaces and is in a fluctuating state. There is still great room for progress in the allocation of medical resources in China. Optimizing the layout of medical and health resources, strengthening regional resource cooperation and sharing, and improving the efficiency of medical and health resource allocation are necessary measures to achieve high-quality development of medical and health. %K 医疗卫生资源, %K 指标体系, %K 数据包络模型, %K 配置效率, %K 高质量发展
