This study focuses on the important aquatic plants in Southwest China, Ceratopteris thalictroides (L.) Brongn and Isoetes hypsophila Hand.-Mazz. Through in-depth analysis of their taxonomic characteristics, geographical distribution, and research application, it aims to fully reveal their growth and decline mechanisms and provide a solid scientific basis for the protection and rational use of these two rare aquatic plants.
