Under the current social background, the mental health problems of college students are becoming increasingly prominent, which affects the growth and development of students, but also relates to the quality of national talent training and the stability and harmony of the whole society. Therefore, it is particularly important to construct and perfect the mental health education model in colleges and universities. It is necessary to take the concept of “Three-Dimensional Holistic Education” as an important theoretical support to carry out mental health education in colleges and universities to achieve practical results, and to carry out mental health education throughout each stage of students’ development. As an inevitable requirement to promote the comprehensive development of students and improve the psychological quality of students, there are still many deficiencies in mental health education in colleges and universities, such as the single way of mental health education and the weakening of the pertinency of mental health education. To solve the above problems, it is necessary to innovate the mental health education model in colleges and universities, so as to achieve full psychological education, all-round psychological education and the whole process of psychological education.
