This article explores the aging friendly renovation strategies of rural housing under the home-based elderly care model, analyzes the current situation of aging population in China and its impact on the elderly care model, explores the basic characteristics and elderly care needs of rural elderly people, and proposes the principles of aging friendly housing space design and specific renovation strategies. The aim is to optimize residential space design and facility configuration, improve the quality of life of rural elderly people, and create a comfortable and livable elderly care living environment for rural elderly people.
