Attitude change theory plays an important role in the field of social psychology, which provides a theoretical basis for guiding people to form correct moral standards, ideological concepts and political positions. There is internal consistency between the theory of attitude change and ideological and political education. Applying the theory of attitude change in psychology to ideological and political education can significantly enhance the effect of ideological and political education, and then promote the all-round development of students.
