In recent years, the rapid development of private colleges and universities has gradually become a new trend in the future development of education, and how to evaluate its education quality has become a hot topic of social discussion. This paper constructs an evaluation index system reflecting the high-quality development of private undergraduate universities in Shandong province, which consists of 8 first-level indicators and 15 second-level indicators. Relevant statistical data of 22 private undergraduate universities in Shandong Province in 2022 are collected and sorted out from the undergraduate teaching quality report of colleges and universities in Shandong Province in the academic year 2021~2022, and the weight of each index is calculated by entropy method. The results show that the two indexes of full-time teachers and the number of undergraduate majors have the highest impact on the education level of colleges and universities, while the bachelor's degree awarding rate, employment rate and social employers’ satisfaction have the least impact on the education level of colleges and universities. In the future, private colleges and universities can improve their education level and promote the development of colleges and universities according to the influence degree of indicators. %K 民办本科高校,评价指标体系,熵值法
