The Influence of Education Input on Regional Economic Development Based on OLS and Quantile Regression—Analysis of Cross-Sectional Data of 31 Provinces in China in 2021 %A 詹丹娇 %J Statistics and Applications %P 750-757 %@ 2325-226X %D 2024 %I Hans Publishing %R 10.12677/sa.2024.133076 %X 文章以我国31个省级地区2021年的截面数据为研究对象,旨在通过实证分析,揭示我国教育投入对区域经济发展的影响机制。本文采用OLS及分位数回归相结合的方法进行实证研究,得到如下结论:(1) 教育投入对各省经济发展水平具有正向作用;(2) 东部和中西部地区的教育投入对人均GDP有正的推动作用,且东部地区的教育财政投入对于经济发展水平的弹性最大;(3) 分位数回归的结果说明,在东部和中西部地区,教育投入并未显著影响人均GDP的条件分布,而在整体上,教育支出对人均GDP的右端影响大于左端,即对经济发展水平较高的城市影响更为显著。
The article takes the cross-section data of 31 provincial regions in China in 2021 as the research object, aiming to reveal the influence mechanism of China’s education investment on regional economic development through empirical analysis. This article uses a combination of OLS and quantile regression to conduct empirical research, and obtains the following conclusions: (1) education investment has a positive effect on the level of economic development of each province; (2) education investment in the eastern and central and western regions has a positive driving effect on per capita GDP, and education financial investment in the eastern region has the greatest elasticity with respect to the level of economic development; (3) the results of quantile regression indicate that in the eastern and central and western regions, education investment does not significantly affect the conditional distribution of GDP per capita, while on the whole, education expenditure has a greater impact on the right end of GDP per capita than on the left end, i.e., the impact is more significant in cities with a higher level of economic development. %K 教育投入,经济发展,区域,OLS模型,分位数回归
