Due to reasons such as a lack of life experience and incomplete physical development, reading literary works has become an important channel for adolescents to accumulate knowledge, enhance cognition, and develop emotional abilities. Since the 21st century, with the continuous development of theories in the fields of literature and translation studies, children’s literature translation has also made significant progress, demonstrating diverse perspectives and interdisciplinary characteristics. This thesis primarily focuses on the translation of children’s literature during adolescence, selecting two books from the Oxford “Bookworms” series, namely The Bront? Story and The Star Zoo, as the objects of the thesis. The main approach involves utilizing the LancsBox corpus analysis software to analyze the translation of children’s literature in the Oxford “Bookworms” series at the lexical and sentence levels. The results show that this series of children’s literature works have simple translated vocabulary, fewer Chinese four-character idioms, and less use of special sentence patterns, allowing for a high degree of translation freedom. However, it fails to address the fundamental issue in translating children’s literature, which is the realization and creation of “Childlike Charm”. Analyzing translated works of children’s literature can help translators better convey the purpose and significance of children’s literature, that is, the growth of children’s lives. %K 儿童文学翻译,语料库,牛津《书虫》
