China attaches great importance to the cultivation of applied talents, emphasizing “further strengthening scientific education and engineering education, strengthening the independent cultivation of top-notch innovative talents, and providing talent support for solving key core technical issues in China.” The Ministry of Education has implemented a series of “101 plans,” comprehensively promoting educational and teaching reforms, advocating using curriculum reform as a small entry point to drive the solution to the major problems in talent cultivation models, and achieving breakthroughs in higher education reform and innovative development.
